Looking for a self-motivated Cloud Engineer to join the Engineering team at Federated Wireless, Inc. They are a company developing state of the art wireless network and application services technology. They are in a major expansion phase, and looking to bring you on to help them grow their engineering team. As a Cloud Engineer you will deploy, operate and manage a high availability, fault tolerant multi-tenant application service engine. You will independently design and develop a cloud orchestration and deployment framework within an Agile service development and deployment life cycle. They will design and code components and/or sub-components, and test deployment and operational tools for all micro-services. Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and document an orchestration and deployment framework for managing of multi-tenant public cloud-based application services
  • Develop/incorporate application monitoring tools for Operations
  • Responsible for service delivery in the Production environment
  • Application service performance analysis, and generating data for traffic forecasting
  • Monitor application services and ensure alignment with SLA requirements
  • Manage support tickets internally and externally, driving the coordination for RCA determination
  • Support customer presentations and discussions as part of the Engineering team, and incorporate customer feedback into release management process
Qualifications:
  • Experience with REST API (Client and Server)
  • Strong knowledge of networking and TCP/IP fundamentals
  • Hands on experience with a modern coding language (Python/Golang/Java etc.)
  • 2+ years experience of services design, development, & deployment
  • Strong background in Continuous Deployment of services in AWS Cloud
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services
  • Hands on experience deploying and managing Container Orchestrator like K8s/ECS etc.
  • Experience with Git source code control
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Excellent oral and written interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of open-source libraries/packages
Nice to Have:
  • Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and consuming container-based application services.
  • Terraform
  • Experience with test driven development and participating in CI/CD pipelines
  • AWS SysOps or DevOps Associate certification is a plus
