What We'll Bring:TransUnion Consumer Interactive (TUCI), a wholly-owned subsidiary of TransUnion, is looking for a Full Stack Engineer with a focus on Front End Development. TUCI builds credit monitoring applications for consumers like you. Typically, these applications allow consumers to view their credit report and credit score, receive credit alerts, lock their credit to prevent fraud, and simulate a credit score based on various parameters.Candidates should have a solid grasp of software development processes and procedures in building D2C web and mobile applications, APIs, and cloud services.4+ years of experience is ideal. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, with the ability to interface with java engineers, database engineers, quality control professionals, and product owners.What You'll Bring:
- 4+ years of experience in application development with a focus on UI/ Front End Development.
- Development experience using languages like Java, JavaScript, JQuery, and C
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks (Example: React, Angular, etc.)
- Experience with Software Lifecycle Tools like Rally and Atlassian to organize requirements, IDEs like Eclipse and IntelliJ, and track defects tools like Jira.
- Knowledge of Basic SQL / NoSQL DBs, use of CI/CD tools, monitoring tools like Splunk, and Datadog, Web Analytics like Google Analytics and Adobe Omniture.
- Hands-on experience with developing personalized customer journeys and persona driven large scale applications based on CMS would be a plus.
- Defect Investigation and troubleshoot code on the front end as well as the back end java methods and apis, and read error log messages related to the applications under test to support defect investigation
- Develop consumer-facing websites/mobile full-stack applications using APIs, and REST/Web services.
- Interface with Front-End and Back-End Engineers, including Product Owners, SRE Teams, Database Engineers, and Operations to develop best-in-class applications. Develop necessary documentation, including system diagrams, interaction/sequence diagrams, and flowcharts to document working software code and solutions.
- Participate and contribute in Agile and SDLC activities like the writing of features & user stories, code reviews, effort sizing, writing unit and system tests
- Research and share best in class SaaS (software-as-a-service) application development and SRE practices to help the overall quality of delivered services.
