Senior Systems Engineer

Piper Companies is currently seeking a Senior System Engineer in the Durham, NC area to support a fast-growing east coast organization. A successful candidate for the Senior System Engineer will p rovide advanced level service support and assigned tasks on workstations and network operating systems and peripherals, including problem resolution, technical change implementation, and maintenance. Responsibilities for the Senior System Engineer include:• Support day-to-day operations and technical issues as it relates to systems, networking, virtualization, and cloud engineering. • Provide an easily understood operating structure and enhanced customer service to partners, clients, and customers. • Deliver and operate secure IT solutions and capabilities spanning various technical disciplines across the full-service lifecycle. • Transition government customers to new business models and evolve into multi-cloud and hybrid environments. • Drive the security, compliance, and service capabilities for new and existing client business. Qualifications for the Senior System Engineer include:• 4+ years of professional systems engineering experience working with data center technologies • Well versed with Linux, Windows, and back and virtualization technologies • Bachelor's Degree and/or relevant work experience • Strong written and verbal communication skills Compensation for the Senior System Engineer includes:

• Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000 based on experience/job site
