SATCOM Test Engineer - Relocation Assistance is Provided!Job Category: EngineeringTime Type: Full timeMinimum Clearance Required to Start: SecretEmployee Type: RegularPercentage of Travel Required: Up to 10%Type of Travel: LocalCACI is looking for a SATCOM Test Engineer to plan and perform Modem Certification testing and Modem Network Performance evaluations in support of Protected Anti-jam Tactical SATCOM (PATS).What You'll Get to Do:

  • Perform Modem Certification testing and Modem Network Performance evaluations.
  • Hands-on testing of SATCOM modems and terminals to achieve WGC certification.
  • Testing equipment such as Spectrum analyzers, power meters, signal generators, noise test sets, and Fireberds.
  • Generate professional test reports and present results to management and customers.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
  • Must have an active DoD SECRET clearance.
  • Minimum of 3 yrs experience in TDMA/IP modems. Experience should include iDirect, Linkway, and NCW. Applicant must be experienced beyond the user level. Need to have experience configuring networks and hubs.
  • Minimum of 2 yrs experience with test equipment which would include Spectrum analyzers, power meters, signal generators, noise test sets, and Fireberds.
  • IP test set experience with JDSU and/or Spirent equipment.
  • Minimum 3 yrs of SATCOM/RF experience. Working at a Teleport, STEP, SATCOM or commercial site.
  • Technical Writing and Documentation: Ability to write professional test reports and present results to management and customers.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
  • SW Development and Automation of Testing: Ability to automate tests using Visual Studio and/or other programming languages.
  • Minimum 3 yrs with Router/switch experience. CISCO certification a plus (CCNA/CCNP/CVOICE).
  • Experience in test lab or environment is a plus.
