The SCCM Engineer will work with Project Managers on the configuration and deployment of servers and security groups to meet the needs of each project on behalf of the company. The Engineer will also work with Business Units and Stakeholders (internal/external) to implement, configure, deploy, and optimize the central monitoring nucleus of the technology infrastructure for business sustainment. Incumbent should be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision individually and with a team. Hands on experience in Patch management life cycle and application deployment using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2012 or higher. Engineer should also have experience with configuring application catalog for deployment using Microsoft Software Center. Co-ordination with multiple stake holders / Third party Vendors for break-fix. Responsible for identification and mitigation of risks and vulnerabilities. Qualifications
- 6+ years hand-on experience engineering, designing, building, implementing, and administering SCCM 2012 or higher enterprise environments.
- Expert knowledge in SCCM technologies.
- Experience as a Windows/Linux System Administrator supporting a large Enterprise system
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Windows 2008/2012/2016
- Administration experience in a VMware or Microsoft or on an Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Scripting experience w/ Microsoft PowerShell and vSphere PowerCLI.
- Must have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a high degree of attention to detail.
- Must have a strong analytical background with accompanying troubleshooting skills as well as effective communication and customer service skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office2013 or higher, Office 365products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, Project, and VMWare.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012/2016, Windows 2008/2012/2016 Server and IIS Web Services
- BA or BS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (or other technical related field of study).
