Architectural Draftsperson/Project Drafting

Blue Hawaii Drafting Services, Inc. a company that has been in Hawaii for over 15 years, is looking for one or more draftspersons/designers to assist in site plans, architectural plans for its projects.

We provide drawings and design for new home construction, additions, alterations, and renovations, as well as small commercial projects.

Description:

Construction Knowledge is a Plus.

· Ability to produce full Construction Drawings is a Plus

· Positive work ethic and attitude is a must

. Ability to prepare and edit drawings according to company standards, make revisions according to mark-ups and comments.

Ability to transpose field as-built drawings to soft copy

Assist in field work investigation (e.g. investigate / field measure existing conditions/structures)

Requirements:

Associates Degree in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering and CAD Technologies), AutoCAD Certification

2 years of experience in construction, engineering or architecture industry

2 years drafting experience in Architecture or Engineering industry

Proficiency in AutoCAD 2013 and earlier releases required

Knowledge of Chief Architect is a Plus

Proficiency in MS Outlook, Microsoft Word

Able to read blueprints and understand Architectural/ Construction Drawings

Able to work independently

Detail oriented and organized
