Job Description

We are currently looking for a Assistant Account Managerto support the Defence Account Manager in overseeing the execution of the Relocations Administrations Services and Removal Services contract and to manage the relationship with the key stakeholder being the Directorate of Relocations and Housing.

Please note this position can be based in Canberra, Melbourne, or Brisbane.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for managing client relationships within the key account of Defence/Directorate of Relocations & Housing and related agencies such as Defence Housing Australia, Defence Families Australia etc on a tactical day to day basis and supporting strategic objectives and contractual compliance
  • Responsible for responding to a high number of client requests on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to support the Defence contract.
  • Proactively anticipating Defence client requirements in the contract administration of relocation provisions including monitoring contracted KPIs

Qualifications

To be successful you will have:

  • Previous experience within a similar role in operational account management.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to maintain positive relationships and influence with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand and interpret Defence relocation requirements.
  • Ability to interpret and help manage Commercial documents.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Possess initiative, a strong desire to achieve results and continuous improvement outcomes.
  • Microsoft office suite expertise including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
