Smoketree Landscape Services is a highly regarded design-build landscape contracting firm in Covington, Louisiana that specializes in the custom design, installation, and maintenance of high-end residential and commercial properties. We are currently seeking a highly motivated, creative, and well-versed landscape architect to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have the ability to oversee the entire design process from concept to completion and thrive in a team of other landscape professionals.

Job Duties:

Project site inventory and creation of base plans

Conceptual drawings for client presentations

Finalize design with the client that they are truly thrilled about

Produce landscape & hardscape plans for construction including construction details

Client relations throughout the entire design, sales, and construction phases

Communicate with the entire team including Administration, Field, Operations as well as General Manager and V.P. for sales pipeline

Work with our installation department through the implementation of the project in all phases

Skills Needed:

Proficient in free hand design and AutoCAD with the ability to learn Land F/X

Experience and knowledge in construction, including elevations and hardscape

Thorough knowledge of zone 8 & 9 plant material

Excel at interpersonal communication

Background Required:

Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from an accredited university or college

Minimum 3-5 yrs. experience in residential and commercial landscape design with a proven track record of success
