Job Description

IS Responsibilities:

  • Standard Troubleshooting on Service Desk tickets - Computer, Printer, Network, Microsoft, etc.
  • Hardware purchasing, imaging, data transfer, deployment
  • Fixed Asset maintenance - Inventory, disposal, etc.
  • Server room maintenance - Server, racks, remote desktops, etc.
  • Cybersecurity communication and escalation
  • Networking support - VPN, Wireless, LAN
  • Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly IS basic task completion
  • In-office desk setup
  • Phone (Avaya/VoIP) system support - Assigning new extensions, removing inactive users, twinning
  • Disaster recovery preparation
  • Annual IS Audit - Maintain standards year round and participate in annual audit

District Business Operations Responsibilities:

  • Data pull & review for Operations - Performed weekly, meetings hosted by DBO
  • Project identification, vetting, and logging - As needed
  • EDE reporting and troubleshooting
  • Regional/Americas/GBO initiatives - Tool deployments, process reviews, network engagement/participation on calls etc.
  • Quarterly Management Review Meetingparticipation
  • Annual Operational Process Audit support and continued review

Qualifications

  • Advanced PC hardware knowledge
  • Basic PC imaging and deployments
  • Basic networking (LAN/WAN, switch, router, RJ45, wireless)
  • Basic windows server knowledge (install, server role setup)
  • High School Diploma
  • Excellent customer service skills; friendly, courteous, empathetic and helpful
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proven desire to learn and expand knowledge base
  • Sense of urgency around all aspects of customer service
  • Emotional resilience, can withstand stress
  • Work effectively and productively with others
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Fluent in English
