Job Description

The Content Publishing Specialist will assist with the collection, storage, organization and sharing of digital marketing assets necessary to drive consistent and impactful user experiences. Responsibilities include coordination and administration of assets (product data, images, video, articles) in multiple media formats. You will champion the needs of content creators and content users and provide critical input into the selection of technology for managing the assets. You will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure content is current, consistent, and complete. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, a strong communicator, comfortable initiating change, and can work with others to resolve issues.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Perform ongoing assessment of issues and opportunities to ensure digital asset management processes and technologies are supporting the needs of stakeholders, including marketing, marketing agencies, sales, and distributor partners
  • Develop and execute methods and standards for gathering, managing, and sharing marketing assets in an efficient and consistent manner
  • Actively support stakeholders with storing and disseminating product and marketing assets to key distributor partners and digital channels; ensure application of best practices and unique channel requirements
  • Conduct periodic quality assurance audits on product information and priority website content to ensure it is consistent, current, and complete
  • Liaison with IT and be a key contributor to the constant improvement of asset technologies
  • Educate and guide stakeholders on where content is stored, how it is organized and what is required to ensure proper compliance and delivery

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-3+ years relevant business experience in marketing, digital media, project management or technical roles and demonstrating a high attention to detail
  • Knowledge of media formats/types and digital channels
  • High computer literacy skills and aptitude to learn; experience with product information management, digital asset management, or database management tools a plus
  • Experience with graphics software as used for digital media formatting preferred, ie. Photoshop
  • Effective project management, organization, and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative and open-minded problem solver; this is an evolving function for the organization
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and external partners
  • Self-starter
