Job Description

The CGTM Marketing Associate will partner with the CGTM Manager and other business leaders and teams within the commercial platform to build demand, market share and profitability for key commercial Miller products. The position centers around supporting the development, execution and implementation of key commercial programs and go-to-market strategies across the path to purchase targeting the fragmented customer both online and instore with a focus on the Miller brand.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop a deep knowledge of the end-user personas and their buying behaviors and preferences through the path-to-purchase journey.
  • Support the CGTM Manager in the development, execution, & promotion of commercial programs and promotions to end users across the path to purchase that educate, inspire, and engage our audience and drive sales for our 80 products.
  • Profile and implement distributor showroom & merchandising that enhances the point-of-sale presence, retail image, and presence of ITW Welding products driving the overall customer experience
  • Support commercial product managers in execution of go-to-market strategies for new and enhanced products including social media, paid media, website campaigns, press releases, email, videos, etc.
  • Effectively measure and report on results of key CGTM marketing programs and promotions and determine any shifts in approach that need to be made based on performance or current market trends.
  • Participate in collaborative go-to-market efforts for the fragmented customer (ie. Trade show planning, social media content, best practice sessions, influencer marketing)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, or related discipline
  • 3-5+ years’ experience in a similar role with emphasis on marketing strategies for the B2C customer
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing tactics throughout the path-to-purchase journey is highly desirable
  • Shopper marketing and in-store merchandising experience preferred
  • Previous experience with industrial welding distribution channels preferred
  • Must be a team player with high motivation and solid decision-making abilities
  • Proven ability to analyze current business issues, customer needs and formulate marketing strategies.
  • Must possess a high level of creativity
  • Must be detail oriented and be able to manage multiple projects and deadlines at one time.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel programs
  • Strong oral and written communication, presentation, time management, and interpersonal skills.
  • 20% travel
