Description:Providence is calling a Manager Clinic Support Staff, Providence Medical Group (Pmg Maternal Fetal Med, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Physician Service Organization in Anchorage, Alaska. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.In this position you will have the following responsibilities:Ensure the timely and accurate completion of daily system/operational activities. Supervises/manages clinic support employees including, but not limited to, PSS, CMAs, dietitians, etc. as applicable. This includes scheduling employee hours, coordinating work assignments, hiring and disciplinary process and training staff as necessary. Manages all personnel related issues within assigned departments at the practice site. Resolves staff conflicts and coordinates paid time off. Assists in establishing practice site goals and objectives. Works with staff to meet and exceed these goals and objectives. Follows Providence Health System in Alaska (PHSA) personnel policies and procedures

Under the direction of the Clinic Manager II/Senior Manager, this position reviews and implements changes to work flow processes to achieve production targets and maintain quality. Ensures compliance with applicable regulatory agencies affecting workplace safety, CLIA, Medicaid, Medicare, OSHA, etc. Responsible for oversight of support staff operations, organization of committees, meetings and follow-through

Collaborate on financial, production and performance issues within PMG. In conjunction with Clinic Practice Manager II/Senior manager, he/she develops, plans and leads implementation to improve performance as necessary

Implement care/services that recognize age/diversity specific needs/issues of customers served. This position is a role model, provides education, awareness and support of patient care standards, policies, procedures and protocols. He/she establishes a clear practice and documentation expectations

Monitory quality metrics and implement quality improvement initiatives under the direction of the Quality Improvement Manager while collaborating with providers, clinic practice manager II/Senior Manager and applicable members of the leadership team

Oversee community outreach projects and programs. Implements programs to maintain and track excellent patient/public relations at the medical clinics

Research and analyzes statistics on the effectiveness of the management and business processes and quality of customer services provided in the clinics

Work in conjunction with Clinic Manager II/Senior Manager to develop the budget and other financial planning while working cooperatively with PHSA departments and staff. Liaison between other area managers and supervisors and performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:Required qualifications for this position include:1 year minimum of one year of supervisory experience in provider practices or equivalent. Must be able to demonstrate awareness and support of evidence-based clinical practices, patient care standards, policies, procedures and protocols. Also preferred knowledge of billing practices, policies and budgetary/fiscal practices. Knowledge of regulatory agency requirements and operational activities as they relate to best practice guidelines

Ability to drive multiple projects to successful completion

Quickly troubleshoots and resolves problems

Preferred qualifications for this position include:Bachelor's Degree
