Procurement Analyst- RemoteJob ID44394Posted25-Jan-2022Service lineGWS SegmentRole typeFull-timeAreas of InterestPurchasing/ProcurementLocation(s)Remote - US - Remote - US - United States of AmericaJOB SUMMARYThe purpose of this position is to design and analyze reports based on the collection of data related to the sourcing, contracting, management and performance of suppliers and vendors.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDesigns and implements reports to support account, client, and global sourcing requirements.Maintain data integrity of databases and make changes as required to enhance accuracy, usefulness and access.Collects and rationalizes data from multiple sources. Ensures data integrity and accuracy.Coordinates with global souring team and peers to aggregate data and align reporting.May provide training to new and existing users of database and reports.Onboards suppliers as needed in GRMS, ISNet and other databasesRespectfully communicates and negotiates scope of work and pricing with potential suppliersEfficiently and accurately issues purchase orders as requestedSuccessfully launches, monitors and reports on SPM surveys as requestedSelf-starter in following up with supplier and internal colleagues to ensure work progressesOther duties may be assignedSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNo formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. Minimum of three years of related experience and/or training.Experience working with standard accounting systems reports and data feeds.Functional knowledge of procurement practices and requirements.CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSESNoneCOMMUNICATION SKILLSExcellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGERequires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.REASONING ABILITYAbility to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIESIntermediate/Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Software. Ability to work with large amounts of data. Problem solving, mathematical analysis and knowledge of accounting preferred.SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITYDecisions made with understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. The minimum salary for the position is $60,000.00 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $65,000.00 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
