This position will have access to the full P&L and will partner with the Senior Financial Analyst and Business Operations to facilitate the forecast, budget, and approval processes for a specific division or market area.Our next team member has a desire to impact the business by thoroughly understanding the financials, can move at a fast pace (pivoting and improving are key), has a passion for the Corporate Real Estate Industry (no prior experience is needed, just a desire to learn). To be successful you will need to have a self-motivated work ethic as individual contribution is key to the success of the team.This position is set-up to further your career development within CBRE, giving you visibility into departments across the organization including marketing, research, operations, HR, sales management, accounting, and exposure to finance & market leadership.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPrimarily responsible for the financial processes around operational expenses and compensation for multiple market areas or an Advisory line of business. To be able to translate operations of a US market or line of business into the P&L through the financial process such as annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and close process. Work as a busines partner to the operations team to track key financial metrics such as headcount/ compensation, producer expenses T&E/Marketing, and facilities cost.Learn the financial tools such as Cognos TM1, MTA (Internal subledger system), Power BI and learn how to use these tools to efficiently complete CBRE’s financial processes and provide key analysis for the finance organization as well as market insights.Advance the vision of the financial innovation office to provide one source of financial truth and continue to move away from being “report driven machines” to delivering data driven financial insights about the business through dashboarding and automation.Performs approval requirements as needed for the hiring compensation process, commission overrides, journal entries etc. Be an actively engaged team member of the Advisory finance team. For the team to succeed and continuously move forward & improve, we must work collaboratively together by mentoring, training, encouraging, and engaging with each other.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNo formal supervisory responsibilities in this position.Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to co-workers.
