WHY THE ROLE IS MPORATANT
  • Ensures business stake holders and IT staff adhere to the ITIL Change Management Process.
  • Acts as a liaison to ensure thorough and rigorous change standards are met ensuring timely and accurate processing of changes as the organization experiences significant transformation to their business model and implements substantial technologies
  • Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the change reviews and a rolling 6 month view of planned changes via a Release Calendar providing visibility of coming changes to facilitate scheduling to reduce risk of conflicts with planned maintenance or dependent application activities.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, internal and external stakeholders ensuring appropriate coordination and scheduling of changes.
  • Ensure testing integration between service delivery teams is documented appropriately on Change requests
  • Develop and maintain a holistic view of the release and change schedules/windows
  • Govern the change and release management processes end-to-end in a multi-provider environment with internal and external service delivery teams
  • Review change records and associated implementations for completeness, accuracy and adherence to corporate standards and policy
  • Facilitate transition of release content to Production Support teams.
  • Understand the impact of the change/release to the technology and functional business communities
  • Monitor metrics for process effectiveness and efficiency, ensuring smooth integration between all key stakeholder groups at a process, people, and tool level
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts for the Change and Release Management processes
  • Foster productive partnerships with internal service delivery teams and MSPs to ensure that the service management processes are adhered to and meets explicit and implicit expectations
  • Maintain a general understanding of various technologies utilized in a Healthcare IT environment inclusive of infrastructure and applications
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
  • Associate degree in Computer Science or 3 + years relevant IT experience.
  • 2+ years Change Management Experience, with at least one year in an ITIL setting
  • Strong experience using ServiceNow
  • ITIL Certified or 1+ years utilizing ITIL methodology with a strong working knowledge
  • Experience leading stakeholder review meetings with participants from various levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational skills and ability multi-task, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Communicates and interacts effectively at various levels of the organization including senior leadership, business stakeholders and technical subject matter experts
  • Facilitates resolution of issues through creative solutioning, open exchange of information and viewpoints and influence; uses negotiation skills when appropriate
  • Adjusts and modifies approach based on circumstances
  • Instills a sense of urgency in driving to completion; escalates issues as needed with MSPs, vendors, internal IT teams and senior leadership
