The Principal Azure SAP Solution Specialist is responsible for managing Azure sales and business development of industry solutions, customer satisfaction, client relationships, and overall solution strategies within the Federal Government business. The goal of the Azure SAP Solution Specialist is to uncover new opportunities in the Federal Government market and drive product penetration and consulting services revenue in customer engagements. You will be working across our technical sales and program teams to support our largest Federal Government SAP customers; helping them shape and enable their digital transformation and cloud strategy. SAP is the Anchor tenant in the data center; pulling with it other large, mission critical workloads. As such, we have strong executive level support and visibility within Microsoft. Additionally, you will gain exposure and work with our Industry team, digital advisor team and engineering to solution and support the needs of our key customers.As a Principal Azure SAP Solution Specialist, you will propose, manage and execute on customer contracts in order to achieve your revenue and business goals. To achieve these goals successfully, you will make decisions regarding the development and maintenance of client and partner relationships, work closely with the sales account teams in order to create and deliver a successful sales strategy and leverage service offerings to address customer business needs. In order to understand the client business objectives, you will interface intimately with the client at all levels of the organization. In addition, you will actively participate in and lead account strategy and planning sessions with local and virtual Microsoft teams, which will include individuals from legal, sales, program management, product support and our partners. You will deliver regular sales forecasts and customer feedback on trends, opportunities and challenges in order to benchmark and forecast your business.The focus of the Principal Azure SAP Solution Specialist role is to develop and close SAP on Azure opportunities that enable customer outcomes.Responsibilities Develop strategy for identifying, driving and closing SAP opportunities on Azure opportunities for the Federal Government market, working with the broader Microsoft Federal Sales team to ensure alignment and input to the overall account plan Hunt for new SAP on Azure opportunities, leveraging the broader Microsoft Federal Sales teams to help build pipeline Qualify, drive & close SAP on Azure opportunities that will accelerate the customer’s digital transformation Ensure customer satisfaction, managing, escalating, and/or orchestrating sales and delivery success Meet or exceed revenue and core priority targets, executing in accordance with prescribed Microsoft methods, processes and toolsQualificationsRequired Qualifications:

15+ years relevant working experience with demonstrated expertise in professional services, program management and/or consulting sales management.

Preferred Qualifications:

An Azure SAP Solution Specialist should have sales, business development, and business management skills and demonstrate a strong level of proficiency in sales and business acumen, pipeline management, customer relations, and opportunity identification

Extensive technical experience in SAP infrastructure related technologies both on-premise and cloud solutions with a solid understanding of the SAP ecosystems and how to bring them to life in Azure/cloud computing solutions, including knowledge of Azure competitors.

Deep technical understanding of the SAP landscapes; technical proficiency in SAP architecture and deployment practices.

Cloud Trust. Demonstrated knowledge of security, privacy, and compliance and how they factor into cloud and hybrid solutions preferred.

This individual must be able to understand and articulate Microsoft strategy and vision to a variety of audiences.

Possess a strong skill set in IT Services, Solutions Sales, and Business Development.

Strong written, verbal and communication skills (including proposal writing and presentation building).

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to team with sales, technical, and operations resources

Strong understanding and experience with incorporating system integrators and third-party participants into a single customer proposal.

A solid understanding of Microsoft’s business value proposition and products, including how solutions are built, and what is involved in implementing solutions with customers.

Able to manage a frequent travel schedule

Possess or ability to obtain a Security Clearance is preferred
