Accounts Payable Clerk

DescriptionAn Oil & Gas company located in the Spring/Woodlands area is searching for an Accounts Payable Clerk for a Temporary position beginning immediately! The Accounts Payable Clerk will report to the Accounts Payable Manager and must have a minimum of 2 years of recent accounts payable processing experience. The hours are full-time, Monday through Friday from 8-5 PM. Process invoices for vendor payments accurately and timely

Process check voids, reissue and stop payments as necessary

Work with vendors and/or Procurement to resolve errors that may result in payment delays

Reconcile vendor statements, research and resolve discrepancies

Other special projects as assigned by the Manager

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in accounts payable

Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment

Excellent customer service, interpersonal skills

J.D. Edwards software highly preferred
