District Manager Needed for high end Women's Apparel company. Position base would be in Houston, TX

The District Manager is responsible for ensuring consistency, meeting and exceeding retail plans, implementing sales driving strategies, and maintain operational excellence to achieve sales results. Additionally, the District Manager is responsible for recruiting, training, and developing retail store teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develops store teams to accomplish districts objectives through recruitment, investment, career -pathing, retention and motivation.

Ensures attainment of sales, payroll, operating expenses and inventory shortage goals for district.

Meets or exceeds company client service objectives.

Ensures that merchandise is maintained to company standard, with emphasis on allocation, presentation, restocking and recovery

Acts as the liaison between corporate and stores

Helps set priorities and direction for district.

Recruits, selects, hires and develops diverse management level talent for district.

Drives quantifiable performances (LY, Plan, UPT, APT, conversion rates, payroll matrix, inventory shortage)

Educates store management teams on forecasting and analysis of business trends and inventory opportunities.

Ensures that all store teams can clearly articulate the company's brand positioning and core values.

Educates store management on marketing initiatives, product placement, lifestyle concepts and product knowledge.

Embodies company culture in all interactions with internal and external clients.

Operates with highest levels of personal integrity and business confidentiality.

REQUIREMENTS

Must currently work in high end women's retailÂ

Must have between 8-10 years of retail experience

Must have 4-6 years of retail management experienceÂ

MUST be a District or Area Manager now and with minimum of 2 yrs of experience in that role
