Job Description:Essential Job Functions
Leverages technology to develop and implement financial control and processes. Applies various financial desktop tools to support financial analysis.
Review organizational financial status and progress. Interacts with the operating management team to provide expertise.
Educates team members on financial and shareholder concepts and tools to improve financial management decision-making
Selects and hires employees. Trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions. Motivates and rewards employees, including providing salary increases, bonuses, and promotions within allocated budgets and company guidelines.
Prepares, recommends, and oversees the development of operating and personnel budgets. Monitors spending for adherence to budget plans develops and recommends variances. Performs and/or oversees budget analysis.
Oversee the efforts of direct reporting resources within the BI&A team.
Guide the streamlining and automation of ad-hoc and standardized reporting functions
Develop and strengthen global standards, reporting frameworks and best practices across the corporate functions
Provide data analytics to business owners to drive data-based decisions and improve business performance.
Build and create efficiencies in the process of producing data analytics.
Provide suggestions to enhance current reporting capability to meet future business needs
Guide a portfolio of BI&A projects to ensure appropriate prioritization, resourcing, and business impact
Assess the utilization and success of BI "products" delivered to the business.
Be a proponent of data insight-based decision-making culture at Company and deploy a self-service reporting system for use across the organization.
Utilize and interpret data to identify key trends; relate to the different users by identifying analytics, metrics, and reports to communicate a business opportunity or a problem effectively.
Work with IT to define SLA for performance, data freshness, data availability, and infrastructure requirements for BI solutions to ensure appropriate design and quality of the BI solution.
Act as a translator between business and technical teams, by consulting on the data available or feasibility of acquiring data, keeping cost versus benefit in mind. Interact with end-users and translate business language into technical requirements.
Develop proof of concept solutions to test and ascertain requirements for BI needs.
In conjunction with the Applications Enterprise Architect, own and maintain the data mapping documentation across the applications portfolio.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, etc.
Master's degree in business administration, finance, accounting or related field preferred
Ten or more years of finance or accounting experience working in BI projects including analytics, data warehousing and reporting development within a business function such as marketing, finance, sales, operations
Five or more years of global leadership or supervisory experience
Experience working with accounting principles and accounting software and databases such as Salesforce, SAP, Essbase, HFM, Microsoft certified preferred - Azure, SQL and Power BI
Experience working with financial analysis
