Database Developer

DescriptionRobert Half Technology has partnered up with a successful company to find an experienced Database Developer to join their efforts. The role of the Database Developer is highly involved in database architecture, designing, developing, and building systems. Preferred candidates are experts in query writing and possess a drive for operational development. This Database Developer role is a long-term temporary-to-full-time employment opportunity that is based in the Sugar Land, Texas area.Major responsibilities

Build a method for storing future database data

Develop, code, and implement relational databases

Provide documentation and training to the Database Administrator. Also supply training to other users when necessary

Generate a database schema based on application related function and type of the data

Requirements

Solid grasp of query coding and relational databases

Previous experience working as a Database Developer or a related role

Knowledge and know-how to fix potential issues, and experience with industry standards for database operations

SQL experience desired

Command of .NET

Strong familiarity with C#
