Sets up and operates testing or research equipment as directed by supervisor.

Makes or records observations and measurements.

According to experience, may design, assemble and operate equipment used in research.

Performs detailed analyses, tests and operations.

May prepare portions of technical reports, aspects of computer programs, and specific sections of project plans.

Assists research Engineer, Sr. Research Engineer, Engineering Scientist, or faculty members with specific phases of research projects.

Performs related duties as required.
