Process Technician - 9800020 Test Technician TEST TECHNICIAN performs all technical duties in the Mechanical or Systems functional areas. Completes tests, measurements, operations or process controls that require an advanced level of creativity. Conducts very complex troubleshooting to correctly diagnose product, process, or program defects and repair them. Exercises a high amount of independent judgment and must be able to recognize and handle nonstandard occurrences and problems in most of their work. Must provide independent technical support of the assigned area, including equipment or software maintenance, and documentation of procedures KEY SKILLS: Position will require Heavy lifting of parts for testing, up to 50 lbs Experience using a test system to test Device Under Testing DUT Experience with System level testing Integration test/Pressure test/Shock test/Pipe test Computer test application experience any application Experience using test procedures to perform test and document test results Must read and understand technical instructions, prints and material lists, electronic circuit diagrams, mechanical drawings and hydraulic diagrams, computer printouts, and/or software code listings as required in the functional area Systems level troubleshooting COMMON SKILLS: Demonstrate proficiency at, and ability to instruct others in: blueprint reading; component identification; wire-preparation, stripping, and crimping; harness repair and termination; use of all pertinent manual hand tools; operation of cell s test equipment Perform technical duties on all functional work group projects; possess and demonstrate proficiency in test technique/procedures for all key cell projects Have knowledge of use and function of job packets, routings, work orders, wire lists, quality travelers, and bills of material. Maintain production tools and equipment Skilled with electronics, hydraulics and/or mechanical assemblies, automated machine operation and/or programming Wear PPE at all times and observe health, safety and environmental policies Use a computer to work with files Good verbal communication, write emails, and work in a team environment Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing Engineers and Design Engineers Willingness to work overtime as needed EDUCATION: Associate s or Vocational / trade school preferredWhy Kelly ® ?As a worker today, it’s up to you to take charge of your career and look for opportunities to learn, grow, and achieve your potential.
