Laboratory Technician -Contractor will operate small scale lab equipment for R D lab work.Responsibilities will include sample prep, weigh up, compression molding,Haake mixing, and various testing of polymers for lab projects.Safety requirements are lab PPE,My Learning and monthly safety meetings.Fabrication/Process Technician -Primary responsibilities include assisting Plastics TS D NA Technologists in the safe operation of various fabrication equipment and work processes including but not limited to the 7-Layer Co-Ex Blown Film Line. Other fabrication equipment include cast and blow films lines, extrusion, compounding, injection molding, rotomolding and packaging converting and testing equipment.Job requirements include: assisting with sample preparation, blending and other tasks prior to and during lab runs.Additional responsibilities include, maintaining excellent housekeeping in work area on a daily basis, with tasks such as Fork-lift operation to empty poly bins, return boxes back to warehouse and sweeping area to avoid slip hazards.The contract employee will also assist with the safe operation of the B-1614 and B-2045 warehouse facilities and will complete safety tasks assigned to the group for EH&S monthly compliance.Team members are also expected to perform other tasks not specifically defined in this job description as needed to ensure department needs are being addressed.A standard 40 hour work week is typical, with occasional overtime required.A positive attitude, ability to work in a team, good work ethic, attention to detail, problem solving and initiative are key attributes for successful team members.Candidates must be qualified or capable of being trained to drive a Fork Lift / Tow Motor.The job is physically demanding with the need to frequently go up and down stairs and requires the ability to lift and move 25kg bags of resin.Computer skills are essential; the candidate must be literate in basic Microsoft software, including Outlook and Excel.They are required to complete all departmental safety trainings and tasks and participate with regular safety and housekeeping routines, maintaining a clean and tidy customer ready work environment.Job expectations include both routine and non-routine tasks flexibility is a necessary attribute.DUTIES: Act as line assistant for packaging fabrication equipmentAssist warehouse staff in maintaining an accurate product inventoryPalletize film rolls for shipmentEstablish and maintain designated work areas and arrange as needed; ensure orderly and safe conditions at all timesRecommend improved methods, records, etc. to enhance quality and efficiencyWork effectively in a cross-functional team to deliver against aggressive targets and time constraintsPerform other duties as required by the nature of the position or as requested by supervisorNeeds to prioritize because of the daily demandPlastics Spare Parts Technician

Identify, document and correct process plant mechanical equipment record deficiencies.

Work with MRO to ensure spare parts identified are tied to the correct spare parts lists and are adequately stocked.

Visit equipment in the field as required to accurately identify, document and compare data with current equipment records.

Compare field data to current equipment records to verify the accuracy of these records.

Review spare parts lists to each piece of equipment.

Request Global MRO code numbers as needed.

Correct deficiencies found during the review process.

Evaluate availability of spare parts relevant to each process plant.

Procure spare parts identified as directed.

Manage receipt of spare parts purchased. Take to MRO warehouse.

Update equipment record files in process plant library.

Document, track and report progress.

Build instrumentation and electronics items into SAP and request Global MRO Code numbers for each.

Request technical data, spec sheets and spare parts lists from manufacturers.

Assist the PPM coordinator entering and deleting scheduled services in SAP.
