We are a small construction/service company established in 1984. We are looking for an Office Assistant/Bookkeeping Assistant. Responsibilities include answering phones, filing, billing, bookkeeping and various other office tasks. QuickBooks, Microsoft Office and Excel experience is required. This will be a full- time position. The hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 - 5:00.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

QuickBooks Desktop - Proficiency Required

Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook

Ability to learn new software quickly

EXPERIENCE:

3-5 years of QuickBooks, accounting, and general office experience required. We need someone who is a quick learner. We have a company specific software that you will utilize. We also need someone that takes initiative, with a get it done attitude, and pays attention to detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The applicant would work directly with the Office Manager and the owner. Office duties include, but are not limited to, billing, receiving payments, data entry, answering the phones, keeping up with office supply needs, cleaning, filing, and other general office work. The Office Assistant will be direct support for the Office Manager, helping with any office tasks that need to be completed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Casual, personable, workplace working with tradesmen.

Casual attire.

COMPENSATION: Depends on Experience (DOE).

Christmas Bonus depending on company and employee production.
