We seek men and women who share our values, thrive in a team environment, and recognize the importance of accountability; people who strive to exceed expectations to ensure our Clients' success.We are currently seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our Security & Resiliency team, based in Round Rock, TX or Remote.Cyber Security Engineers have responsibility for providing thought leadership across security technology areas and aligning with both the business and cybersecurity objectives. The candidate will be expected to contribute to initiatives across Cybersecurity, and work as a member of a larger team that focuses on priority driven items which change based on need. Broadly the roleperson:Secures enterprise information by determining security requirements; planning, implementing, and testing security systems; preparing security standards, policies, and procedures; mentoring team members.Integrates deep subject matter expertise with:

Industry experience

In-depth knowledge of professional standards and trends within area of expertise in Linux

Relevant related disciplines

Business goals and strategy

Understands impact of emerging business trends and their implications for Dell and its customers

Develops complex solutions to business problems or customer engagements through in-depth analysis, coordination and negotiation with key decision makers

Adapts and integrates own experience with Dell-wide strategy

Develops innovative solutions to problems without precedent

Decisions are strategic in nature, have long-term consequence, and tend to relate to business strategy, financial performance and effective resource

Key Responsibilities

Work across the various global IT teams and business units and coordinates resources to effectively perform maintenance and response tasks.

Takes responsibility for successful execution of upgrades, enhancements and requests.

Presents incident response report and lessons learned to management.

Identify and recommend process improvements.

Provide security control enhancement recommendations based on regulatory and best practice procedures

Communicate and build effective relationships with people at all levels.

Attend internal and vendor training as and when required.

Communicates and educate information security risks to end-users.

Reviews, analyses and resolves difficult and complex information security problems.

Develops new approaches and techniques for use by others.

Documentation and communication of findings

Requirements

Proven ability to think analytically and solve technical and business problems required

5+ years of professional experience deploying and maintaining applications in large Linux environments

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues

In-depth knowledge and understanding of IT systems, domains, enterprise applications, DNS, and Networking

Information security knowledge in one or more areas such as Enterprise end-point security products (i.e. McAfee e-Policy Orchestrator, Virus Scan, Anti-Spyware, Host Data Loss Protection, Endpoint Encryption, etc.) Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), firewalls, Web Proxy, E-Mail and Web Gateway etc. to include: Palo Alto / Checkpoint / SonicWall / McAfee / Cisco / Blue Coat / Imperva etc.

Customer-oriented with a strong interest in customer satisfaction

Strong verbal and written communication skills. With emphasis on technical writing skills and the ability to explain complex problems to nontechnical teams
