Residential Landscaping Assistant (3101 Old Pecos Trail)

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

Primary function is to perform landscaping and gardening maintenance and design for homeowners and Commons property areas according to Quail Run standards; promote additional landscaping and planting suggestions to homeowners to better enhance their properties; responsible for all indoor plant maintenance in Plaza buildings and Clubhouse; assist in golf course landscape maintenance as needed; Responsible for Quail Run residential yard maintenance services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

College education or equivalent preferred in horticulture, landscape design, and/or master gardener certifications, other certifications and/or licenses preferred in pesticides, irrigation and turf management; three (3) to (5) years working experience in residential and commercial properties in landscape design and maintenance.

SKILLS/PERFORMANCE STANDARDS REQUIRED:

Ability to think and work independently; ability to work flexible hours including in evenings, weekends, holidays, and inclement weather; ability to handle varying situations in a professional manner using tact and diplomacy; ability to pay great attention to detail; present a professional appearance at all times, dressing in an appropriate manner while presenting a professional demeanor; maintain a balance of accomplishing the project(s) thoroughly but in a timely manner, while keeping client satisfaction at the highest level; keep Grounds/Landscaping Supervisor informed of all projects, communications, issues, at all times; operate all equipment while using all safety procedures and equipment and train staff on same.
