Editor/Writer – Business Financials (Buffalo Grove)

International Services is seeking an Editor/Writer as a team member in the VAS specialty group. The Editor/Writer will be creating, proofing developing Financial and Accounting Reports in concert with the Business Valuation Analysts, Tax Consultants and the Department Director.

This position is responsible for the quality and completeness of comprehensive reports for closely held companies. The work requires a detail-oriented person who is as comfortable addressing tax, accounting and financial concepts as well as translating ideas into understandable reports and valuations.

Education and/or Training:

Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Analytical, organizational and communication skills

Strong report writing, analysis, and research skills

Proficient computer skills (emphasis on Word and Excel)

Professional presence with strong interpersonal skills (with clients, peers, management, etc.)

Entrepreneurial initiative and accountability

Positive, enthusiastic attitude

Creativity in problem solving and ability to multi-task

Ability to contribute to a dynamic, innovative and challenging work environment
