Quality Control Inspector (The Thumb, MI)

A client located in Imlay City is looking for a Quality Inspector to join their team! This position would be a 1st shift opening starting at 14/hour!

Job Responsibilities:

Complete quality inspections on finished products

Perform first, in process and last piece inspections

Work on capability studies and GR&R’s

Completed and document all paperwork as needed

Complete quality data entry

Report any issues to Quality Manager

Discard or reject products, materials, or equipment not meeting specifications.

Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.

Recommend necessary corrective actions, based on inspection results.

Clean, maintain, calibrate, or repair measuring instruments or test equipment, such as dial indicators, fixed gauges, or height gauges.

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

High School diploma (preferred)

2+ years in similar positions

Experience working in a manufacturing environment

Familiar with tools such as Micrometers, Calipers, Height Gages, torque Wrenches etc.

Ability to interpret blueprints, FMEA and Control Plans
