We also provide analytics that combine clinical knowledge with big data technology and techniques to transform petabytes of data into meaningful solutions for our customers.ResponsibilitiesDevelops enhancements to the Medicare Part A health care claims processing system. Follows either a waterfall or agile/scrum development life cycle. Responsible to create technical design deliverables, develop new programs, enhance existing programs, build unit test plans, cases, data and execute those tests. Installs changes into internal testing regions and fixes discovered defects. Follows procedures and coding standards in a highly rigorous development environment. Plans and executes work assignments in a way to ensure all project manager-assigned due dates are met. May provide mentoring to less experienced developers. May lead peer developers as a project lead on some assignments. Can identify and implement process improvements and updates to technical documentation.QualificationsRequires 5 to 8 years with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD.Experienced with mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, CICS, TSO and VSAM. Knowledge of health care claims processing. Able to perform well in a highly rigorous development environment, such as one that conforms to Capability Maturity Model Integration for Development (CMMI-DEV) Maturity Level 5.

Design, codes and unit tests enhancements to the Medicare Part A healthcare claims processing system

Participates as a member of and leads development teams.

Designs units for others.

Completes development to implement complex components.

Designs solutions for others to develop.

Participates in cross-functional teams.

Leads design activities

May provide mentoring and guidance to developers.

Designs, prepares and executes unit tests. Represents team to clients.
