The leading assessment and data insights team is looking for a Cloud Economics Engagement Manager to deliver assessments with a strong focus on partner that drive customers’ digital transformation and right licensing at scale.The role of the Cloud Economics Engagement Manager (EM) has dramatically changed. Successfully selling within the x-segment business today requires obtaining meaningful customer data that can be leveraged to build compelling business cases, with and through partner, that drive outcomes that matter most to our customers. Today’s successful EM’s that are partner focused are at the leading edge of helping every customer facing sales role obtain the data they need to be successful. Tomorrow’s successful EM’s, focused on partner, will ensure capability across the partner ecosystem to drive the translation of the data into meaningful insights that maximize customer value while minimizing their risks and optimizing their IT investments.This new vision is already having tremendous success! We have numerous examples where our work has led directly to significant Azure, SQL, O365 & E5 purchases while also defining migration & optimization opportunities. License optimization is a key competency necessary for the success of our partners and customers. As customers contemplate their relationship with all cloud vendors, the impact on licensing is material. Qualifications

5+ years of experience in solution-based selling to senior business decision makersUndergraduate or Master’s/ MBA degree preferred

Self-starter

Strong, proven track record of consistently achieving/exceeding quota using a consultative/solution selling approach, focused on solving enterprise customer problems with Line of Business solutions

Executive maturity and business acumen

Experience engaging C-level executives

Knowledgeable and experience in enterprise and solution selling

Knowledge of Microsoft’s products & sales models

Knowledge of Microsoft's contract and licensing structures

Technical sales background with strong business acumen and deep understanding of Microsoft field sales motion.

Technical knowledge of PaaS, SaaS and IaaS

Excellent sales management from pipeline management as well as the ability to improve the sales process

Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans and to drive influence in a matrixed environment with partners

Strong planning and organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously.

Strong analytical skills to (1) identify market opportunities, (2) quantify results and (3) execute on COE plans.

Data-driven, independent thinker who can operate within a broad framework.

Experience in problem solving leveraging internal and partner resources where and when needed to do what’s right for the customer and for the organization.

Experience in working with and through others to influence and achieve results.

Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, planning and leadership competencies

Passionate about partners and customers.

Professional Training and Certification preferred: Sales and partner management, complex sales training (e.g., Challenger Sales, Miller Hyman, Spin, Michael Bosworth, Holden, etc.), and sales methodologies (equivalent to MSP).
