Position Brief

SAGA Realty and Construction, an innovative and growing construction and realty firm is is currently seeking a Digital Communication & Social Media Specialist to develop social media and digital marketing strategies to increase firm's social presence. This individual will work closely with the Sales/Marketing team and will be responsible for planning and executing digital marketing campaigns across all social networks. The ideal candidate should be a detail-oriented, self-motivated, capable of planning and executing campaigns, analyzing metrics and identifying industry trends.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute engaging and effective marketing campaigns across all digital channels.

Develop/maintain all the social media profiles and quality content on all the channels including Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and Pinterest.

Writing and editing marketing content, social posts, blogs, e-mails, ads, and pitches.

Write, deploy, and manage social media advertising campaigns and e-mail campaigns utilizing technology inherent to our environment.

Assist in all digital marketing efforts (Facebook ads, Google ads etc.) to help grow and support the foundation’s strategic, philanthropic, outreach goals.

Ongoing keyword research, analysis, recommendation and implementation into content and other aspects of the website and social media.

Assist with print ads and collateral.

Optimize/update content on website

Assist with digital reputation management strategy

Create and analyze Google Analytics, ranking reports and social analytics data to make recommendations to optimize website and social media content.

Responsible for researching and writing create briefs. Ensures product messaging resonates with current and potential customers.

Skills

Hands-on experience with social media, inbound marketing systems, and familiarity with marketing automation practices

Graphics knowledge would be highly preferred

Knowledge of basic social media platforms, functionality, analytics, and marketing strategies.

MUST know the ins and outs of social media (technology and theory behind it).

Copywriting and copyediting

Strong working knowledge of HTML, Word Press, Email Campaign systems, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, and Instagram;

Highly motivated, quick-learner, self-starter with a college degree in marketing, communications and/or technical areas

Must Have Excellent writing and grammar skills.

A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements

A team player and the ability to have fun at work!

Education and Experience

2+ years of experience in a digital marketing role with a focus in content development and/or reporting and exposure to SEM or display ad campaigns across advertising networks such as Google, Bing, Facebook,

BA or BS in marketing, communication or relevant field
