The team is responsible for designing the future data environment, defining data governance and oversight, and partnering with technology to operate the data infrastructure for the company. This team also provides next generation analytic insights to drive business strategies and help meet our commitment to satisfy our customers’ financial needs.We are looking for a high performer to join our team and help us solve challenging and interesting business problems through data exploration and visualization. The Business Intelligence (BI) Consulting team is part of the larger Enterprise Analytics and Data Science (EADS) team within Data Management & Insights (DMI). EADS serves as an analytic hub by building community, innovating in advanced methods, and applying expertise to enterprise level goals. In this highly valued role, you will manage the BI Consulting team. This team is focused on consulting with clients across all WF lines of business to identify and define strategic business issues that require analyses and translate this information into insight, knowledge and understanding. BI Consulting supports WF by offering the following services:

BI prototyping and strategy development

Exploratory data analysis

BI design reviews (modeled after our internal peer review program)

Advanced visualization – identification and support of data analysis needs that go beyond standard tooling

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical and process consulting

Management of project timelines and deliverables including:

o Management of project intake via Jirao Project Scheduleo Peer reviewso Solution implementation and transition to LOB resources

Coach team members on the development of dashboards and visualizations

Manage multiple project timelines concurrently

Lead through all aspects of the analytics lifecycle from intake and defining a business problem to generating insights and summarizing “the story” for partners and leaders

Develop partnerships with analytic leaders across WF to focus on benefits of delivered solutions

As a Team Member Manager, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business. Specifically you will:

Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them

Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks

Required Qualifications:

6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling

2+ years of management experience; or 3+ years of leadership experience

4+ years of Tableau experience

3+ years of experience creating executive level dashboards, analytics, and reports using advanced visualization tools

Desired Qualifications:

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

Knowledge and understanding of data organizing or structuring complex data across varied data sources

1+ year of JIRA experience

Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
