Parsons is seeking an experienced versatile Engineering Systems Licensing Analyst who wants to work on making an impact on the landscape of urban communities and national security. You will support Parsons enterprise-wide Engineering Systems by providing expertise in a specific ES application or related area (E.g., licensing and compliance, application publishing and certification).Role:Under general supervision, competently performs all standard and non-standard engineering systems support functions related to application licensing for Parsons engineering systems (ES). Independently analyzes questions, issues and problems arising with the licensing of engineering systems software and identifies solutions based on an independent evaluation of the situation and sound technical judgment. Uses industry best practices with regards to application license management. May assist in the preparation of technical documentation related to application licensing.Responsibilities:

Has an extensive knowledge of engineering and design systems and/or ES collaboration systems.

Installs, configures and troubleshoots the licensed components of ES software.

Documents and maintains information for ES licensing systems

Guarantees the operability and interoperability of ES systems by providing technical oversight of core systems and servers that align with specific enterprise ES products, including licensing management systems, collaboration systems, and other core ES delivery systems

Possesses a broad knowledge of a specific ES-related technologies and applications (E.g., CAD, CIE & GIS).

May provide technical guidance to less experienced staff members.

Works with vendors to coordinate ES Licensing deployment and troubleshooting.

Consults with other members of the ES team to identify and resolve questions, issues and problems related to specific design and engineering applications.

Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Qualifications:

U.S. citizenship is required

Associates Degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or related technical discipline, with experience in both engineering and IT, typically 4+ years of progressive experience working with engineering systems (CAD, CIE, GIS) and their licensing mechanisms.

Experience with Flex LM, Sentinel LM, HASP and Bentley licensing technologies.

Working knowledge of computer aided engineering, tools and methodology (CAD, CIE and GIS Applications).

Knowledge of the architecture, functionality and delivery of engineering and design applications

Experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting the licensed components of ES software is required.

Experience documenting and maintaining information for ES licensing systems required.

Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Written and oral communication skills appropriate for the position, including the ability to speak very well in basic professional situations and present technical data in a logical manner that is easy to understand (may include communication via telephone, in person, or presenting to small groups). Ability to write moderately complex documents (may include emails, memos, procedures, presentations). Communicates with a wide variety of individuals (employees and managers) throughout the organization and outside of the organization (i.e. clients, vendors).

Certifications:

One or more of the following certifications preferred: Vendor certifications (E.g., Autodesk, Bentley, Intergraph and ESRI). Microsoft Windows Operating systems (E.g., Microsoft Certified Engineer), SQL or similar certifications or other related certifications.
