Farm hand to perform loading and unloading of square bale hay (Denison, TX)

We produce a high quality square bale hay, provided to horse farms, and are expanding operations.

I need a farm worker who will mainly help to load and unload square bale hay, using a tractor or skid steer, or sometimes manually by hand, when they are loaded on trailers, and when they are unloaded at customer sites. You need to be able to operate farm machinery, such as tractors and hay grapples to help load and deliver the hay as well.

The job will average 30-35 hours per week in the beginning, and the pay is $12.00 per hour when you start. There are many weeks where the amount of hours will exceed 30. There is much room for advancement.

Qualifications and Key Strengths:

- Skill in running tractor with front end loader

- Ability to work efficiently, and without constant management

- Ability to perform all of the physical tasks associated with loading and unloading hay, including lifting 60 lb hay bales, bending, etc.

- Be flexible in schedule

- Strong work ethic; positive attitude

- Can take instruction from a manager

- Is adaptable to daily and weekly changes

- Will follow through on tasks
