Vacutech LLC, the largest private employer in Sheridan, Wyoming, is seeking a Quality Control Manager to join our expanding team. We are seeking an experienced candidate, who is self-motivated, can work independently, has strong verbal and written communication skills, and has an incredible attention to detail. Candidates must have the experience and demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position requires working with our manufacturing personnel, management team, and vendors to ensure our customers consistently receive the highest quality products.

Job Duties:

• Develop, implement and manage quality control systems to ensure materials and products are consistent with established standards and customer specifications.
• Define and develop structure, procedures and responsibilities for QMS (Quality Management System).
• Oversee, review and perform testing and inspection processes for all products
• Test, weigh, measure and inspect incoming raw materials and parts to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
• Work with manufacturing teams to enhance understanding and awareness of impacts of product quality and lowering total costs.
• Work as part of a team to problem solve quality and manufacturing issues using a systematic and process-based approach.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years Quality Control Management experience.
• Background in manufacturing processes, production equipment and process improvement and procedures.
• Knowledge in Audits, Quality Control, Continuous Improvement, Supplier Quality, Process Design and Control.
• Knowledge of quantitative Tools and Methods. Must have working and hands on knowledge of inspection methodology and techniques.
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.
• Must be highly organized, self- motivated and can work independently.
• Must have strong leadership skills, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
