Job Description

We are seeking a Field Representative/Property Manager for our established company. A MT Licensed RE Sales Agent looking for steady income would be a great fit. The successful candidate will have experience in property management, including, management of client expectations, management of complex issues, such as; fiduciary, physical facility improvements and maintenance, and have the ability to manage time constraints. We are seeking someone with strong customer service and independent working skills who will promote excellence within themselves, the staff, and throughout the community.

Basic job duties will include:

Traveling to various locations in and surrounding Missoula

Performing basic field reports to check on health and safety items both inside and outside of the units that we manage

Performing "move out" reports detailing needed items for residents to complete while vacating

Following up with prior red flags on field reports and communicating with residents

Translating field reports into detailed service requests

Other field and office duties as needed

Showing potential lessees properties that may be occupied as well as personal showings.

A successful candidate will:

Foster a positive, active, and collaborative relationship with staff, residents, vendors, and associated agencies

Effectively help motivate staff through positive morale and setting an example to ensure outstanding performance

Adhere to timely completion of required reports to clients

Enforce and adhere to company policies, rules, safety practices and regulations

We are looking for a candidate who is committed and has a willingness to excel in the field of property management!

A Montana Property Manager or Montana Real Estate Salesperson/Broker License is a must to be considered for this position. Please visit the MT Board of Realty Regulation website for more information. We are willing to help support the right candidate in getting licensed should they meet the State qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

Understand and comply with Fair Housing laws and standards.

Must be dependable, reliable, able to take direction and work independently to complete tasks in a timely and thorough manner.

Must be organized, efficient, have the ability to prioritize, have excellent follow-up and outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong computer skills, with high proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).

Experience with Appfolio is a plus!

Full-time is Monday to Friday from 8:30 am-5:00 pm during the busy season. We may be able to accommodate a part time schedule depending on availability. For the right candidate this will lead to full time year round employment.
