SUMMARY

In this role, the Vice President Marketing will be responsible for establishing Alta’s go-to-market strategy, evolving our brand, and expanding our leadership position in the business process outsourcing industry. This position will manage a high-performing team responsible for brand marketing, lead generation, and recruitment advertising, working closely with business development leadership to meet our revenue goals.

This is a key role in driving Alta’s growth, now and for years to come. Alta requires a leader who can effectively communicate the company’s story and help take the company to the next level. Reporting to our CEO, you will develop our positioning and drive demand by telling the Alta resources story. You will work closely with a wide range of functions at the company, including the executive team, sales, human resources and others.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Lead Alta’s brand, messaging, product positioning, voice, and visual identity

Set overarching marketing and go-to-market strategy

Develop strategies to grow mindshare in the market, including thought leadership and research

Maximize the company’s performance at all parts of the funnel, driving new leads and helping interested companies through the decision process. This will be accomplished through close coordination with Business Development

Work closely with our business development team to present a unified voice to our customers

Define metrics and system to manage performance against goals

Manage PR for the company, helping to establish Alta as a thought leader in the category

Drive modern demand generation function

Lead competitive and research efforts, ensuring that the company is well aware of industry moves and trends

Play important role in strategic planning process for the company

Oversee all creative develop efforts at the company, ranging from internal templates to facilities design

Develop recruiting campaigns and media plans to maximize Alta’s pool of recruits

Complete additional duties or projects as requested

Regular attendance, punctuality and adherence to agreed-upon schedule of availability are conditions of employment and essential function of this position.

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises and carries out leadership responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, retaining, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing and resolving issues. The position also requires active leadership in the way of supporting strategic initiatives as well as personal development and application of Six Sigma methodologies. All leadership positions are expected to attain Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree from a four-year College or University required, Master of Business Administration preferred. At least 15 years of Marketing experience, with 5 years being in a leadership role. Five years of experience marketing a B2B service to large corporate clients. Experience in Business Process Outsourcing a major plus.

TECHNOLOGY SKILL BASE

This position requires a working knowledge of computer technology that includes: Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel. Individuals must possess the ability to learn and understand new software and other technology applications as introduced by the Client and Alta Resources.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc.) in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for up to eight hours, and stand. Manual dexterity which allows the individual to use hands to type on a keyboard, use a mouse and write are required, as is the ability to talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Due to the nature of this work individuals are required to be on-sight during hours designated by the Client, however, the occasion will arise when the employee must be off-site due to business functions.
