Gift Shop Supervisor for Alaska Travel Adventures
As the Gift Shop Supervisor, you are responsible for the successful operation of a seasonal gift shop. You will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, creating an inviting atmosphere, managing appropriate inventory practices and actively promoting sales to ensure the shop’s success.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Maintaining cleanliness in the shop and tasteful display of merchandise
Ensuring merchandise inventories are unpacked, coded and entered into the POS system
Maintaining up-to-date inventory & providing monthly and end of season inventory report
Keeping stockroom neat and organized for ease in locating merchandise
Managing pre-season set up and end of season take down
Training additional sales associates in operation of POS systems and daily reporting
Perform daily banking duties (deposits, cash handling, credit card processing, etc.)
Creating a positive, professional culture and work environment
Understanding and compliance with company safety & operational policies
Season runs early April through early October.
