You can't serve food if there aren't any clean plates! Dishwashers at Hilton Garden Inn Portsmouth Downtown are essential in helping to make sure food is presented properly and safely by ensuring the cleanliness and sanitization of dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils through manual and machine cleaning methods. Dishwashing is where many of the most successful Chefs started.

Starting pay rate for this position is $11.96

The ideal candidate believes in showing up on time for work, providing assistance in the kitchen as needed and following all sanitary and health-related protocols. If you've ever dreamed of working as a Kitchen Manager or Cook, this position will provide you with a great start.

You must have flexible scheduling availability to include mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays.

Job Requirements:

Attention to detail. Dishwashers are quick to spot a dish that isn't entirely clean and can follow health and safety standards.

Physical strength. It can take some muscle to wrestle a pot back into tip-top cleanliness, so it's important to be able to stand for long periods and lift around 40-50 lbs.

Positive attitude. They may not always look like heroes, but dishwashers are key players in a great restaurant, and they're ready to lend a hand or assist when unexpected situations arise

Fuerza física. Se puede necesitar de algún buen músculo para adquirir máxima limpieza de alguna caldera, por lo tanto es importante el poder permanecer de pie por largos períodos de tiempo y levantar alrededor de 40-50 libras de peso.

Actitud positiva. No siempre luciran como heroes, pero los lavaplatos son jugadores claves en el equipo de un gran restaurante, listos para ayudar en cualquier situación que se presente.
