We are looking for up and coming college graduates to be the future of Microsoft. Applicants will be considered for Technical Consulting & Client Success roles with employment start dates in 2021.As a consultant or services professional, you will be a strategic advisor to Microsoft’s enterprise customers and partners helping them optimize their business performance and be on the front line dedicated to solving their technical challenges. You will possess a solid understanding of your customer’s business, industry and needs as cloud and emerging technologies enable digital transformation opportunities for their organizations. PFEs deliver support through various delivery services under Microsoft Services support contracts and engagements. They deliver unique value by collaboratively and reactively solving customer problems, providing proactive support advice, contributing to product quality and enhancements and creating self-help assets to broadly reach more customers.ResponsibilitiesUsing technical expertise and excellent communication skills, Support Engineers are responsible to fix real time issues, collaborating directly with the customers and other support professionals to help customers solve business problems. Support Engineers are great problem solvers with keen analytical skills, who love working with industry leading technologies and are excellent communicators, asking good questions and demonstrating empathy.Role-specific qualifications· Experience working in a large data center, IT/operations department or helpdesk/customer service is preferred· Excellent communication skills and superior customer-service skills desired· Professional certifications (SharePoint, Windows, MCITP, etc.) are desired· One or two years of experience with VB, C/C/C# and/or XML· Strong analysis, problem-solving and decision-making skillsPursuit LeadOverviewPursuit Leads are key participants in driving the sales growth of solutions for Enterprise and provide leadership to all domain assigned resources and activities to support opportunity qualification, scoping, estimating, costing, risk identification and mitigations, contract preparation, and handover of contracted work to the delivery teams.ResponsibilitiesPursuit Leads (PL) are responsible for supporting the presales process by shaping and scoping deals to satisfy customer's requirements. PLs partner with account aligned sales teams to understand customer needs and requirements, and leads domain delivery resources through the pre-sales activities of designing a solution (architecture, approach, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), estimating, costing, etc.). By maintaining a long-term relationship with customers, you will gain a thorough understanding of the organization's IT goals, pain points, and the IT team's impact on overall business. You will use this information to create a service delivery plan to make sure customers are finding success with Microsoft products.ResponsibilitiesTechnical Account Managers provide valuable insight on the operation and optimization of the customer’s IT infrastructure through quality service delivery management. If something unexpected occurs after a customer has deployed a Microsoft product, you will work with global business support to manage incidents through to resolution.
