OverviewThe Retail Beauty Manager is responsible for increasing retail sales and brand awareness through strong presentations and education at the store level. This position will have a strong presence in stores and know how capitalize on opportunities that will grow the business. Focus will be on Beauty Consultant team and retail goals.The incumbent(s) in this position should exhibit the following ACOSTA values:

ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions of this Position (list in order of most important to least important):

Responsible for Consistency of presentation and standards through store visits, coaching, sessions with Beauty Consultants, and through communication with store management.

Analyzing individual stores: identify sales trends and opportunities by store.

Communicating specific stock opportunities to maximize volume potential.

Executing Seasonal event strategy and marketing calendars.

5.Training and developing Beauty Consultants to achieve retail sales goals, improve presentation standards, selling sills, and maximize retail sales opportunities. Responsible to teach, coach, motivate and inspire Beauty Consultants through example.

Monitor Beauty Consultant performance to standards and review developmental opportunities with Director/VP. Identify areas of strength and weakness with both the business and people in each account. Formulate action plan to correct problems with specific goals and timetables.

Insure superior floor placement of our brands vs. competitors.

Gather competitive activity information and report back to Director/VP.

Provide efficient feedback to Director/VP regarding effectiveness of strategies, trainings, selling tools, and products.

Responsible for execution of DIF and RTV strategies.

Prioritize most urgent business needs; strong time management.

Manage all Company expenses within the parameters set forth in the T&E Policy.

Understanding of specific nature of each branch of service and know how to get things done in each.

Other duties as assigned.

QualificationsMinimum Education Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED

Experience Requirement (i.e. 5 yrs category mgmt or 3 yrs food brokerage):

3+ years experience in a retail sales environment

2+ years supervisory/training experience preferred

Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements (i.e. “plan-a-gram” software expertise, presentation skills):

Strong communication skills; ability to build strong positive relationships with others.

Exceptional ability to multi-task and prioritize

Ebility to travel 50% of time – overnight travel included

Strong negotiation and presentation skills

Proficiency in MS Office
