Position InformationJob SummaryPlans and coordinates the Dual Credit Program at a given Independent School District, linking high school students to community college course work for college credit.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Interfaces with high school administrators within designated ISDs to disseminate information, identify problems, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to goals and objectives

Directs college course schedule building for each semester at the area high schools within designation

Oversees the college add/drop and class schedule change process

Conducts annual reviews and updates Dual Credit Program with assistance from area high school administrators and Tarrant County College faculty

Presents orientation sessions for college faculty, ISD counselors, and high school students

Assesses current student needs and course offerings in order to measure program outcomes

Coordinates special events involving high school participants

Attends workshops and conferences related to dual credit

Supervises support staff in coordination with Dual Credit Director

Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite

Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC)

Supports the values of the College: diversity, teaching excellence, student success, innovation and creativity and service to the College

Supports the mission, values and 3 goals and 8 principles of the College

Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university and two (2) years of program management and evaluation experience or any equivalent combination of education, training, certification, and related experience

Strong presentation skills

Ability to work corporately with students, faculty, staff and administration

Strong organizational skills

Experience with computerized systems

Knowledge of recruitment and outreach methods

Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Desired Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensures

Secondary Education experience and/or experience within an early college high school setting

Career and technical education experience

Previous experience working with healthcare education programs
