Job DescriptionKelly Services is looking for an Assembler II in East Syracuse, NY.The main focus of this position is soldering and mechanical operationsPerforming assembly operations on electronic components and sub-assemblies in accordance with company standards.Job Responsibilities:Requires J-Standard 001 soldering certification using a microscope.tPerform maintenance tasks to maintain equipment in good condition.Daily communication with all team members and supervisor through the use of shift meetings, email, log book, and other written and verbal methods.tMaintain clean, safe and orderly work environment.tUse various measuring tools as required.tReport any problems, defective materials, questionable conditions or unsafe conditions to supervisor or leadertProvide high quality and timely service to all internal customers.Comply with and support company policies and programs regarding safety, security, ISO, EEO, OSHA and Continuous Improvement activities.tWork to develop customer relationships through collaboration, respect, professionalism, trust and integrity.tListen to and understand customer requirements and take prompt, appropriate action that exceeds expectation.tTake personal ownership of internal and external customer issues.tInspects product as it is being built and refers any problem to Supervisor.RequirementsSkills and Abilities:Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.Ability to perform basic and routine repetitive mechanical assembly operations on components and sub-assemblies using fixtures, screwdrivers, etc.tProficient use and familiarity with hand tools.tAbility to understand manufacturing documentation.tWill require basic skills and soldering skills.tAbility to read, understand and follow assembly instructions, including visual aids and drawings.tMust be able to work in a limited number of areas or with a limited number of products.tAbility to work both independently and as part of a team.HighlightsTemp to HireWhy Kelly ® ?As a worker today, it’s up to you to take charge of your career and look for opportunities to learn, grow, and achieve your potential.
