Join us and together we will drive the future of health care .Director Network Mgmt. – In any Anthem office location within the United StatesResponsible for identifying, developing and proposing vendor strategy and oversight solutions for select Anthem affiliated vendors based on business needs. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:Develops and maintains vendor oversight, communication, and management plans including vendor selection, contract and rate negotiation, issue resolution, developing and reviewing statements of work and service level expectations, identifying key performance indications, serving as a representative on vendor business and Executive committees, etc.Partners with data and analytics teams to develop and enhance reporting capabilities.Works closely with vendor negotiators to assist with contract negotiations/renegotiations.Manages escalated issues with vendors, working with a cross-functional team to develop and implement action plansTranslates vendor strategy into defined tactics, programs/projects, priorities and timelines while ensuring alignment with and attainment of both regional and enterprise-wide strategic plans. Serves as a Subject Matter Expert on enterprise and inter-regional vendor initiatives.Attracts, develops and manages key servicing staff.Develops innovative ways to maintain a cost effective network with adequate access and positive working relationships with vendors.Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.About 15% overnight travel might be required.Requires a BS/BA degree in business administration or related healthcare field; 8-10 years healthcare operations, finance, underwriting, actuary, network development and sales experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.Leadership experience required.Familiarity with delegation of services (including CM/DM/UM) preferred.Primary care, Behavioral Health, Specialty care experience preferred.Executive Communication preferred.Analytical experience required.CPA or MBA preferred.Anthem, Inc. is ranked as one of America’s Most Admired Companies among health insurers by Fortune magazine and is a 2018 DiversityInc magazine Top 50 Company for Diversity.
