Our growing dental office is looking for a full time Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) and Registered Dental Hygienist. We are a privately-owned office that provides exceptional dental care through our commitment to excellence, knowledge and exceptional customer service.

Registered Dental Hygienist

- Open to working one or two Saturdays (8 am to noon) a month (this can be discussed in further detail during interview)

- Consistently deliver superior patient experience with positive attitude

- Perform dental hygiene procedures including prophylaxis, debridement, scaling and root planning, periodontal maintenance, periodontal charting/measurements, sealants, fluoride treatment

- Take digital and panoramic x-rays, taking intra-oral images

- Educate proper oral hygiene instructions

- assist the team whenever needed to help the office run smoothly

Responsibilities for Dental Assistant:

- Open to working on Fridays/Saturdays

- Assisting the dentist during examination and treatment of the patient.

- Assist dental hygienists with periodontal charting and x-rays, as needed.

- Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments, equipment, materials, operatories

the dental lab and according to OSHA regulations.

- Follow the policies and procedures as outlined in our employee manual.

Skills Required:-

- Take x-rays efficiently

- Must be efficient and a team player

- Good communication skills.

- Competent and knowledgeable in assisting dental procedures.

- Perform various laboratory procedures. ( fabricating bleach trays, pouring modelsetc)

- Maintain a clean work environment and dental instruments.

- Responsible for stocking operatories

- Good work ethic

Education and/or Experience:-

- High School diploma or GED

- Texas Registered Dental Assistant certification required for the RDA position and RDH certification required for the hygienist position

- CPR and radiology certified

- General dentistry experience is required.

Pay/Benefits:

- Pay will be based upon experience and market rate.

- After 90 day probation period, will be eligible for various employee benefits (vacation pay, dental insurance)
