EXPERIENCED ONLY Production Artist At Screenprinting Company (Carrollton, TX)

Job Description:

Promos Ink Inc. offers FT day shift in-house Graphic Production Artist position.

Responsibilities include in order of importance:

-Perform art separations with software provided.

-Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator is needed.

-Vectorize artwork and redraw if needed.

-Provide design layouts on apparel templates for approval.

-Create proofs for client approval with artwork provided. Retouch,revise,or redraw if needed.

-Manage orders in relation to due dates and deadlines.

-Work well with inhouse customer service reps who manage orders.

-Have the ability to assist with front-end design work on web projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

- At least 2 year minimum experience in screen printing art production. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE EXPERIENCE IN COLOR SEPARATION FOR SCREEN RIP, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY.

- Knowledge of color separations for t-shirt printing: spot colors, gradients, 4 color process, or simulated process type designs are a must.

- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with quick and accurate results.

- Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator.

- Creative design skills for multi media layout and preparation.

- Individual MUST have strong multi task skills.

Bi-Lingual a Plus
