ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Clean all equipment before and after rental

  • Perform and follow maintenance schedule of all equipment

  • Effectively represent the company in appearance and work habits

  • Load and unload equipment

  • Operate and inspect equipment for deficiencies in proper operation

  • Operate and evaluate equipment for their condition of run ability or repairs required

  • Document damages and report them to the store manager immediately

  • Safe operation of company equipment

  • Deliver equipment as needed

  • Perform minor repairs when needed

OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Check all equipment for damage

  • Keep the wash bay clean and organized

  • Check fluid levels of equipment

  • Keep equipment yard and parking lots clear of snow

  • Keep the yard free of hazards, debris, and trash

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

  • Must be able to understand operating directions for various cleaning equipment

  • Must be able to maintain cleaning equipment

  • Must have general knowledge of all the rental equipment

  • Must be able to perform routine maintenance on a larger variety of equipment

  • Must be able to understand and follow all safety requirements.

  • Background in operating various equipment

  • Good verbal and written skills

  • Basic computer skills

  • Possess sufficient mechanical skills to perform minor repairs

EDUCATION/ FORMAL TRAINING/ LICENSING

  • Must have High School diploma or equivalent

  • Valid driver’s license required. CDL or ability to obtain a CDL preferred.

EXPERIENCE

  • Some exposure to the equipment we rent is a plus

  • Understand the general concepts of maintaining the equipment they are responsible for

  • Mechanical experience is preferred

MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED

  • Water

  • Pressure Washer

  • Grease Gun

  • Shop Vac

  • Glass Cleaner

  • Degreaser

  • Rain gear

  • Cold weather clothes

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for eyes, ears, hands, feet, and breathing if needed

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES

In a standard 8 hour shift a worker must:

  • Walk and/or stand 5-8 hours on concrete floor in a shop that may be very warm or cold

  • Sit 1-3 hours

  • 50lb weight lifting restriction.

  • Use hands for simple grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation

  • Use feet frequently in repetitive movement

  • Frequently bend, squat and climb onto equipment

  • Be willing to be exposed to grease, oil and dirt

  • Willing to work in all weather conditions
