Within Services, the Client Technology Team is dedicated to supporting the overall client technology strategy and implementation.The charter of this team spans client-centric technologies such as embedded connectivity tools, data analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, private and hybrid cloud capabilities and the intersection of Services technologies with client technologies.The Services Client Technology office is central to guiding the 2 to 5 year client Services technology vision and strategy and for serving as a technology subject-matter expert (SME) for the team. In this capacity, the Services Client Technology office is responsible for identifying, validating and recommending leading-edge Services-related client technologies that will produce significant competitive advantage for Dell.Responsibilities:

Develop and make recommendations for new Services client technologies based on quantifiable criteria: including but not limited to: future impacting technology, market size, growth and financial impact to Dell.

Lead, architect and build (code) technology research and validate new proof-of-concepts (PoCs).

Collaborate closely with Services client technology Architecture, Advanced Engineering and Product Strategy teams on the hand-off of high-potential PoCs for further investigation, validation and potential integration into our technology product roadmaps.

Establish a deep understanding of existing Services client technologies with the objective of being able to explain and describe those technologies fluently to non-Services client technology audiences and to understand and advise on potential integration points with new technologies.

Develop, manage maintain a strategic research Services client technology roadmap.

Requirements:

Ability to understand, identify, analyze, validate, distill and make recommendations regarding leading-edge technology trends that are impacting or may impact the client technology space

14+ years of relevant experience (strategy, architect, development, research) or equivalent combination of education and work experience in the Services industry relating to business and technology strategies

Previous experience driving transformation change & experience leading cross-functional teams and initiatives

Working knowledge of Agile / Waterfall Development Methodologies, leveraging Cloud (Azure, Google, AWS), custom developed applications and SaaS based tools

Proven ability to communicate exceptionally well both in writing and orally and to be able to create and tell compelling stories
