FirstWorld Records Located in Laurel Maryland is in search of Record Label/Studio/Office Manager to:
Develop organizational procedures for office personnel, including filing, billing, accounts payable, payroll and scheduling
Improve employee and customer retention rates through active communication and problem-solving efforts with talent and other entertainment establishments.
Manage employee/client schedules and troubleshoot scheduling conflicts as they arise
See to it that establishment is always clean and in order
Run overall daily activities as they come up.
Schedule all crew and talent during film, photography and music video shoots.
Greeting, welcoming, and directing visitors appropriately
Answering incoming calls, providing general information, and serving as a gatekeeper.
Assist in sending through company travel approvals
Maintain scheduling of the conference room
Assist in the catering order for meetings and events in the office
Handle replenishing supplies for the office
Maintain the overall presentation and aesthetic of the office
Requirements:
Minimum of (1) year of receptionist or administrative support experience.
Must be able to commute to Laurel Maryland daily
Must have a passion for music
Strong command of oral and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented, organized, punctual, and accurate.
Ability to work independently and on multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong proficiency in computer software applications (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.
Must be comfortable interacting with all levels of management and staff.
Must possess the ability to act competently while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
Available to work on a flexible schedule.
Experience:
Record label: 1 year (Preferred)
Office Manager: 1 year (Preferred)
Music business: 1 year (Preferred)
Receptionist: 1 year (Preferred)
