(7:30am-4pm) shift pays $11/hr (8.5hrs)

Starting fire, loading briskets, tending fire

It’s very important that the AM shift arrives on time so the PM shift can leave on time.

(4pm-9:30pm) shift pays $14/hr (5.5hrs)

Tending fire, wrapping briskets, finishing briskets at desired temperature. Sometimes this shift runs early or late. Must be flexible and attentive.

No brisket smoking experience necessary, but preferred especially for the PM shift.

A training shift will be necessary on a Friday before your first shift, and also on Saturday for the PM cook.

Ability to cover the Friday shift on occasion preferred. All applicants must be committed and give more than a weeks notice if a shift must be covered, so we can train a back-up. Please also let us know if you’re interested in doing both shifts.

Attention to detail is extremely important for both positions, especially PM. Our bbq has been recognized by Texas Monthly bbq editor Daniel Vaughn as being some of the best in the state, and it’s very important that we maintain quality.

All of our product is sourced from Texas and is pasture-raised, all natural and sustainably raised.

Our kitchen is located off Old Ranch Rd. 12, minutes from town.

Please submit a resume and some information about yourself, why you’re interested and/or your qualifications.
